In 1965, I received my medical degree from the University of Missouri. From 1965-1966 I served a residency in psychiatry at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington and from 1966-1969 I was a psychiatry resident at theUniversity of Missouri-Kansas City, Western Missouri Mental Health Center. I am board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
In 1970, I joined the medical staff at Truman Medical Center Lakewood. My practice focuses on adult and adolescence psychiatry with emphasis on liaison psychiatry, consultation to family medicine and specialty services and psycho-pharmacology.
As an associate professor for UMKC, my teaching focuses on clinical and therapeutical aspects of psychiatry as applicable to family medicine settings.
My wife, Dr. Rose Zwerenz and I enjoy traveling and spending time with our grandchildren.
